So, this is just a friendly PSA to all of you people out there. It's recently come to my attention that there is plenty of toxicity in the community. I realize that people are gonna say whatever the heck they want, but I'd like to encourage everyone to think about what you're saying. I realize that I probably am not one to talk considering my past history on the server, but I would never try to put someone down or try to hurt someone intentionally. Our words do have a big impact on other people, and I believe that we want this community to be a place that people feel safe, and welcomed. Even if someone isn't bothered by what you say, it creates a negative atmosphere. I've noticed that in general people are heavily influenced by their environment and the people around them. So by being toxic or rude, you are creating a negative atmosphere. It's important that we think about what we say, and how we act in public. If it's in PMs, and between friends, that's another story. However, it is NOT okay when you make rude, toxic, or inappropriate jokes in public because it can make others feel uncomfortable and creates a negative atmosphere. Over the years, people come and go... but what I hate is how some people leave because of how toxic the community is at times. Not only that, but some people have expressed they feel like they can't just be themselves because of how certain people in the community have treated them. I know I cannot make anyone change how they act, but I encourage you all to take what I'm saying to heart. Also, if you do see other people breaking please do report it. While we like to joke about the staff being all-seeing and all-knowing... they're just human, like you or I. I think players often forget that, and they do make mistakes. But it's important we help them in any way we can, please please please report anything you see that is breaking the rules. Let's make Manacube a safe place for everyone to play!

Lovely words Stormy not sure about the toxicity you mention but the intention is lovely.

I will leave you with a phrase or two I think you could get a lot out
"Practice what you preach" or "Walk the talk" Hopefully you can garner some meaning out of these.

I would be the biggest hypocrite on Manacube if I didn't take my own words to heart.

Also I was referring to people who are furries being targetted.... it's not cool

Welcome back! :D
I always try to take the chaos as another thing to laugh about, but I totally understand your points. There are ways to appropriately give a little jab at your friends, but others can easily not know the context and issues can arise from that.- omg haha, I lost my thoughts by watching your cute dragon things playing!

Virtual chats are a sensitive and confusing thing. Often the best option is to take a step back and remember what you're using them for: what your goal is on Minecraft today and how what you're seeing or not seeing, doing or not doing is helping you to achieve that goal.

Sadly I have personally noticed that reporting a post via the report button doesn't always get attended to. There were a few posts recently where pictures of animal abuse and domestic abuse were posted and were up for a few hours, and the post did not get deleted/removed until I actually went and got a mod off of the Discord. 7 mods were online on the forums at the time the pictures were up. Reporting is always a good feature but the best way to report is through actual reports and not just the report button

Yes, of course. I personally believe the best way to report something is through the discord. It is unfortunate those posts weren't taken down right away.

I think the answer there is that there's no actual notification on the forums the way there is if you ping mods on Discord. You'd have to check the reports page, and even then you'd have to refresh it at the perfect time. Like Stormy said, when in doubt always ask on Discord (idk if that's possible for you, Tenshi).

Yeah I'm only in the discord ( cant see any channels ) so I can PM mods. Seeing violent images on the forums absolutely isnt okay and they need to implement a ping for any reports that come in

I definitely think there should be some kind of way to "ping" mods over the forums, I mean there is a ping system like this @Cookie Kat , but I don't know if that works for reports or not? Probably not... as a person who is currently discord banned for the time being, it'd be nice to have a more reliable way to report things in a way that staff might actually see it.
Edit: Just in general, I don't always get notifications. Sometimes a few people will respond to a thread I created, and it'll only show one notification for that thread...

It doesn't the way you'd hope, since you still have to refresh the page to get the alert.

It's toothless and his girlfriend, also @WingsOfFire17 had a toothless GIF as his signature, and I thought it'd be funny if I had this boop GIF as my signature.

What's the point of being mean let's all be nice aha
There is no point in being mean, but that's just how the world is... ppl are mean to those they don't like/agree with. But perhaps they aren't mean ppl, maybe they just weren't thinking straight. I mean I get mad at ppl a lot, I can say mean things... but usually I come around in the end. :)

Yes I agree some silly things can slip, Im a bit silly all the time but you can't change how a person is aha.
A person will only change on their own... that is what I have learned. But first, they have to realize what they're doing and if they want to change or not.
