Kit is the most understaffed server. It really needs more and more and more and more staff that can be active and catch hackers and stuff.

Kit is very understaffed and doesn't have a lot of players. Not to mention the anti-cheat that is more like a lag-you-into-blocks. Unfortunately, there's not much that can be done by it unless more active players apply for kit staff. The anti-cheat will most likely stay the same as mana has other priorities.

Just curious, do you watch the staff apps?
To me, it seems like even the active and courteous applications get rejected. If you watch them, do you notice the same?
I'm probably just not seeing something, but I think that in times when kitpvp is in a place like it is, any help is better than no help.

I think I'd be right in saying I've watched and do watch staff applications more then just about any player when I was a player. I'd agree with you but if anything I've learnt from becoming staff that context is everything and lots of rejections come down to context which isn't available to those who watch staff applications. In saying that I'd love to see some people reapply or apply for Kit it needs the staff and there are people more then willing and capable of being great staff members. I'd also disagree with the notion that any help is better then no help. Lavendel and the other kit staff do as much as they can and the anticheat does as well. Abusive staff is a really really quick way for things to get really messy and kill off a server more then anything else.

Don't know if you know(sarcasm), but there is a series of events and systems to train the applicant to be staff. They don't just, er.. well they shouldn't be just thrown in as a random guy off the street to moderate the server.
Maybe it's the trainings that aren't working well enough so the applicants have to be even better than originally sought after.
Regardless, there is something working wrong when there are no new trainees for staff after more than 3 months and dozens of applicants. Kitpvp definitely has the community attention it needs, but the role of the parents to *feed them the soccer ball so they can score the goal* is missing.
I am grateful for lav, Ryan, speedy Gonzalez, and the other keyboard warriors, but the unintentional 'lack of work' isn't good enough for what kit needs.

Yea I've been watching/commenting on all of the staff apps lately. There's been a lot of good applications, but the ones for kitpvp are simply people who haven't met requirements and obviously haven't been on the server long enough to become staff. I feel like if you haven't played mana for more than a month or two, then you're not prepared to be staff. And that's why there's not many people applying, its a cycle of playing for a few weeks, then quitting because of the cheaters. I know a few people who main kit who are considering to apply for staff though, so hopefully they get accepted and mana may finally put some work back into it.

I'm confused, but okay.
