This has been on my mind for a while so I wanna say it. Maybe someone will be inspired or come to a realization

I keep hearing these people complain about working "hard" and not getting enough money. And this to me pisses me off because in most cases I've seen these people over value the value of money and underestimate the amount of work they should be doing.
I think the money follows the work you do. Work hard, get payed more. Work less, get payed less. Maybe if you think you're not getting enough money from your job it's you that's the problem.

Hypothetically, say you got hurt, you broke a bone or something. What if that pain that you claimed was a lot, is not actually a lot and that you just haven't experienced a lot of pain before. So why make a thing of it. It's the same with work. Maybe you just don't know how much you should be working. So why make a thing of it.

Real life example:
I worked at a fish market for my first actual job this summer. I started the same time as another guy and we both got min wage. Within 6 weeks later, I had already gotten 2 raises while he was still getting min. On projects, one example deep cleaning the food cooler, we were assigned to work together. And the amount of times I'd have to tell this dude to get back to work literally made me stress more than anything. No wonder he didn't get the raises and I did.
We get 0 brakes. Worked 11 hours a day. 6 days a week.
Get the job done well and done fast, then rest.

I've talked to people complaining about working 8 hours 4 days a week while they get to use their phone, have hours of downtime a day, get free food and drinks and get payed more than I do.

Don't work for the money. Work to improve yourself. Work for the work. You should be able to imagine yourself doing that work as volunteer work, not for the money. I'm not saying the money isn't nice. It certainly is.

I've had people tell me I should quit that job and work elsewhere because of the pay. Well, sorry I have better work ethics than you.

Your money should be earned. And actually deserved. You should be getting stressed and exhausted. That's part of working. It's healthier for your physical health, mental health, spiritual health, social health, and emotional health. I belive that a large part of the reason for the job crisis and mental health crisis is because people don't want to get up and do things. It limits and desensitizes you and the people around you even if you don't realize it.

That's basically it. If you get pissed at my opinion it's cause I was talking to you.

And no im not mad or anything im drinking and smokin im chilllllin.
But the fact that you expect a negitive response and shifted blame before you even got any. Just shows my point

Your confident in how you treat money because it works. But still just because it works doenst mean its anywhere close to "right". :)

I just read ur post again. And it genuanly scares me that ppl are so complement and willing to be basically slaves for scraps worth of money. This is the reason ppl are aloud to have trillions of dollers while we struggle to pay bills. Ppl like "you" are content and willing to do whatever work is asked of us aslong as we can be semi comfy.

**sorry for spamming on the forms if u not tryna read or respond then dont **

Firstly if you're drinking and smoking you gotta be careful what you say cause you're talking our the side of your neck and contradicting yourself. Basically saiying you don't want to work to your full potential.
It's not being a slave for scraps, it's having good work ethics. People have trillions of dollars because they make a plan and work at it until it's unhealthy. They never drink and smoke and chill especially at the age of 19.
Obviously if you work in a bad place and have to put up with bs you shouldn't be there.
I never expected a negative response ? I never shifted the blame ? I gave my opinion on working for your money in the hopes it may create a spark in someone else.
So I now I ask you to show me how you work hard to show your worth. Show me how you work hard to get a raise before your coworkers.

People rarely make "trillions of dollars" with hard work and a good "work ethic"
The only way you finna get that much money is either with insane luck, doing very fucked up things, or just by being litteraly the best in the entire world at a skill.

Your so called good work ethic doesn't show self worth or pride at all. It shows that you can listion to what your told and not complain.

I see your logic tho and im not tryna degrade you for doing what you think you gotta do and still being happy while doing it. Thats all you can really do right? *,*

Butt you are litteraly killing your self for scraps. And then you smile about it and dont get when other ppl complain.

I have worked I.T making a lilllll under 100k a year thanks to taxxxs. Ive worked construction,Fast food, babysitting, toutering, and a smallll amt of community work.
Point being i do everything to get a raise before my coworkers and i normaly do. But if thats really your only goal and how you define your work ethic and self worth. Your looking at this shit wrong.
Money will never be a representation of worth or effort. We live in a fucked up system. Your goal should just be to try and build your understanding of things. And build your compassion // just be a good person. Not just WoRk HarDer iTs nOt thAt bAd.

Lastly tho i am sorry im typing a book abt some dumb shit on a minecraft thread. Your not doing anything wrong and i see how u were just trying to spark somthing in somebody and//or get some opinons.

And well you got myn sorry its alot tho@ (:) and trust me my man im not talking out of my neck cause i smoke / drink. I have self control not a addict i just dont see chêmicals as somthing to fear or criticize there just tools for me to use.
Again sorry ik u prolly dont care for me to respond but hereee you go

Idk maybe finding something passionate about won’t have to complain if your getting paid well yk decent living with a good life style pretty decent life I mean Tbh I would myself wouldn’t go this route but seems like a lot of people get too comfortable in their position when they could reach much more and it truly hurts seeing someone with so much potential go to waste who knows but with a society we are in we aren’t in a total meritocracy sadly tbh just status and connection and one’s own ability that move us up in the social ladder. Tbh I didn’t read a what you said I just read work harder which spun this up.

I realized that it is most comfortable for me to find the golden mean between a very difficult job that takes a lot of time and brings a lot of money and work that is fun. Now I work for my pleasure, I earn not so much as before, but I am happier.
