Water in Map Maker- Help

I've been creating a new map recently, and this is my first map. I don't know all the mechanics and am struggling with using water in the map. How do I make it so that the water stays in a 1x1 block area? Is that possible?

Hi,

to make a water block stay in a 1x1 area, holding a wooden axe, you would need to right click and left click on a block where you want the water to go. Then you type //set 8, which is the block ID for water and then you will have water in a 1x1 block.

Doing //pos1 and //pos2 also sets the position without using the wand :)
