So to start things off I've noticed that there has not yet been any skywars events. (That I know of, may be wrong.) I think that events can help spring skywars back to life. I've had many events in my mind that I would like to suggest.
Mega skywars- Many of you may have played this game on hypixel. Essentially what this gamemode is, is 20 teams all with 5 people. They fight for gear and fight till the last team wins. Obviously since the minevast player base isn't this big we could decrease the player cap on this. Possibly like 5 teams, all to be entered via the forums and each team to have anywhere from 3 to 5 players.
(Which ever the staff team feels is best.) Possibly you could have prizes to this like the kitpvp tournaments, such as a rank, title and gems/money.
20 player Ffa- For this gamemode there could be a special map set in place big enough for 20 people. Again all to sign up via forums. These 20 people will each get their own island and fight to the death. Last man alive wins. Again there could be prizes such as said above.
Set-gear gamemode- For this gamemode there could be like 20 people also. An Ffa of course. So what this gamemode is which I literally just made up right now, but sounds very interesting is... There are 20 people, all on their own island. The unique thing about this is that everyone gets the same gear. (Full chain armor, stone sword, a rod, lava bucket/ water bucket, bow with 20 arrows, food, a stack of blocks, and a stack of 5 e pearls) There are no chest in this gamemode so everyone has the same gear and no one has a better advantage in a tournament like this. So you travel to people's islands or to the center island (no chest at mid island) and fight to the death. Again the players are to sign up on the forums. Winners could get a prize such as stated above. (Kinda got this idea from barebones, lol)
These are just some ideas I came up with today and thought I should share on the forums. I think this is just what skywars needs. Thank you for your time and consideration.
