Hey guys it is _Woolfie, today i will be explaining a lot about mob spawners. I will go through each mob spawner and explain how they will spawn and where they should be placed for them to spawn. Including the requirements allowing them to spawn in Skyblock & Islands. I will also give additional information about each mob and what they drop.
(If there are any mistakes please let me know. Im open to anything and any suggestions for the thread).
It does look bright in the screen shots and that is because i am using night vision. Without it you would not be able to see anything. So just imagine that the room is dark. ;)
If a mob needs a certain requirement it will be in their explanation below.
When it says in the description "No block requirement needed", that means that the mob does not need a special block to spawn.
Hostile mobs

Skeletons drop these items when they are killed: bones, arrows and occasionally bows and if you are lucky an enchanted bow.
(Skeletons can spawn anywhere on the island. But in order to spawn they need dark places). No block requirement needed. http://prntscr.com/g85veq

Zombies drop these items when they are killed: iron ingots and iron tools (mainly an axe or a hoe), carrots, potatos and rotten flesh and if you are lucky an enchanted piece of armor.

Spiders drop these items when they are killed: spider eyes and string.

(Slimes can only spawn in certain parts of your island. The requirements are that you need to go below the y level 50 and find a slime chunk. So once you are below y50 just place the slime spawner around in different areas until the spawner spawns slimes). Be careful slimes can also be out in the sunlight. No block requirement needed.

Witches drop these items when they are killed: glowstone dust, redstone, sugar, sticks, spider eyes, gunpowder, glass bottles or Potions of Healing.

(TIP) if a witch poisons you, a bucket of milk will remove all harmful effects.
