I'm just going to throw a few others in here that can really get me crying because of the amount of value I put into these songs. My stepdad has been kinda ruining the lives of my mom and me for 19 years. I wasn't allowed to speak to my mom sometimes, which resulted in me locking myself up on my room and playing video games. He always ruined every nice day. Eventually my mom decided to divorce him. During the last period of us living together, my mom and I used to play these songs so much.

Alone I break by Jonathan Davis (Korn) and the SFA

Exit music for a film by Radiohead

Appart from that situation, another song which can make the tears flow for me but I really love is Wicked game by Corey Taylor.

Sorry for making a bit of a sad turn here xD

I really like gothic 80's music.

Anything from Danzing, Misfits, The Cure, Alice Cooper, Billy Idol, Siouxsie and the Banshees and you'll find the stuff I like.
Giving them all a listen now!! Give me some time and I'll get back to you with some favourites!!

Thats truly harrowing set of events @warlord9120. Whilst I can't imagine what that might be like I understand being separated from family members and I empathise with you its really hurts in a special kind of way. I'll give them a listen, also I hope you are in at the very least a safer/happier situation. I'll make sure I think of this when I listen to the songs I understand how you feel and how music can be a vehicle for entire times of someone life. Thanks for these recommendations War!!!

Starting off, awesome idea for a thread!

My music can be iffy and not many people like what I like but I'll give this a shot anyway xD

Three songs I always find myself putting on repeat are:

1.) Rockstar - Call me Karizma
2.) Ghosts - Jacob Tillberg
3.) I'm so Sorry - Nico Collins

I know my music taste is terrible so I'm sorry in advance :p xoxo have a nice day

I take it you meant Danzig for the first? Apologies if I have the wrong band lol.
Mother was great as was Soul on Fire. I actually liked a lot of their songs purely for the guitar which was just one great riff after another which I loved. Also when he wasn't screaming too much the lead singer had a really great voice.

Misfits was good I think I liked Hybrid Moments the best I didn't mind Dig up her bones and a few others. I

know The Cure I think The Lovecats has always been my favourite song weirdly enough. Great suggestion though!!
I know Alice Cooper as well, my favourite and always will be is School's out, love the guitar and the drums was the best.

For the next suggestion weirdly enough except for Dancing with myself I haven't listen to a lot of Billy Idol, however I decided I would and Mony Mony was a favourite not sure if they were more dance hits then some of his other music but I liked it immensely!

Siouxsie and the Banshees was greattttt The Passenger was good the bass guitar was greatttt. Almost reminds me of the Eurythmics in a really weird way idk why. Hong Kong Garden was an uh interesting listen ahahaha. Peek a Boo was another interesting listen but I actually really liked it!!

Let me know if you have any favourites I might of missed and of course thanks for the suggestions @Tenshi!

Looking back at it I hate the way I formatted this

Alone I break - I find it really curious that this is such a song for you. I can feel the emotion but its a very different type of music from what I listen to when I'm sad. I can see how listening to this song would be almost therapeutic to let your emotions out. I actually quite liked it War! I actually quite liked the beat of the whole song but I can definitely hear the raw emotion in the singers voice.

Exit music for a film - It was so sad and so soulful thanks for sharing out of all the songs so far this in a perverse way is one of my favourites.

love is Wicked game - This was a song I've heard before and I agree in the right mood its a real tear jerker. I loved the acoustic version
Thanks for sharing @warlord9120

Thanks I really love the idea and I hope it can remain a reoccurring thread that I can reply to! Also I don't know what you mean about not. many people liking your music I've had one of these songs on my playlist for ages.
Rockstar - I've had this on my playlist and I'll agree with you its a bit out there but I really like it!!
Ghosts - I thought the lyrics weren't too bad and I loved the electronics and the beat with the "I don't believe Ghosts" I don't know about you but I could 100% see a mash up of this in a club any day and being super popular at least in my opinion. know I've said it a lot in this thread but at least in the music phase I'm in right now I really really loved this music
I'm so Sorry - Was a bit more pop music like but I still enjoyed it but my favourite were definitely the first 2

Don't be so harsh on your music taste I really liked it and now that I'm listen to I'm so sorry more it's actually really growing on me. I added all of these to my favourite playlist at the moment.
Thanks Cos!!

1. I Like Me Better - Lauv
2.Pretty White Lies - Jason Zhang
3. Chasing Fire - Lauv
I honestly listened to I Like Me Better in forever! But its still a really good song thanks for the reminder Kai!
Hadn't heard Pretty White Lies before but it was a nice song kind of chill but had a upbeat beat and the lyrics were fun. You're last music suggestion was another one I hadn't heard before but I liked how Lauv obviously has his style set out and was definitely a good listen.
It might be a bit slow for you @Kairewyr but you should check out Tokyo by Sam. Sts or I know you by Craig David.
Thanks for the suggestions and reminders of a really good pop song!!
