Completing Mob Encyclopedia rebirth

How does one get zombies to become drowned? I have left zombies underwater for over 10 mins and they do not become drowned. I need to kill 100 drowned to rebirth D:

You usually just need to push the zombies into a pool of water, wait about 30 seconds, and they will turn into a stack of Drowned mobs. One stack only counts as one kill unfortunately, so you will technically need to kill 100 “stacks” of turned-zombies to complete that challenge. Zombies don’t always turn into drowned mobs; but if you are having issues with them never turning, I can certainly report this as it may be an issue.

I know @spursszn had a good design for spawning the mobs in, pushing them through water into a deep pool, which allows them to spawn several stacks to speed up the challenge. He would likely be able to explain it better/give some insight on this!

/warp mob has a drowned grinder - you have to make sure that once the zombie is in the water at the entrance to the grinder, that you do not hit the zombie - it won’t change if its hit. Once the zombie turns into a drowned, you can then kill it and wait for another to turn into a drowned.

Just make sure that you don’t spam hit the drowned as it could glitch into the wall (same with all other mobs)!

sorry to hijack this thread but can a non staff get the wiki tag thing?

I don't think so, I know some staff that are on the wiki team but don't have the wiki tag though.
