What's the best moment you've had on ManaCube?

Oh my gosh, there are so many. - My first map being accepted, and getting to collaborate on 3 of my very first maps with my friend Rubempre. - My staff application being accepted on Christmas Eve, and getting promoted to parkour helper on Boxing Day along with my friend Madi. - Shinx and Alfie...

    please nerf the parkour please

Accepted The Raven - hard (resubmision)

As I told you in-game, I think you absolutely nailed this re-submission. The build is great as always, and the parkour is simple and fun to play. Keep up the good work!

What genre do you listen to?

Rock is the genre my tastes fall under the most, I guess. I like a lot of classic rock, mostly 70s and 80s - Chicago, Genesis, The Band, Talking Heads - but when the rock gets closer to hard rock or heavy metal that's a bit too much for me. For more recent stuff, I have a soft spot for alt/indie...

Do your guys' parents not kill you if you don't get A's?

Those are excellent grades, Laney. Don't hold yourself or others to unreasonable standards.

    Update the /Helpop system.

Helpops used to be really visible and easy to use but they got an update that , if I remember correctly, made it better to use on the staff end but less visible in chat. I don’t use helpop that often but I think it would be great if they went back to being that nice bold pink !

Why are some titles bold and some aren't

If they're bold, that means you haven't read them yet.

Why are some titles bold and some aren't

Bold is reserved for the rarer and more valuable titles, since it stands out more.

Do your guys' parents not kill you if you don't get A's?

It's pretentious and rude, because of course we don't.

I've screwed up a lot, and I want to apologize

We've all been there, Laney. I don't know what happened, but you're fine.

Do your guys' parents not kill you if you don't get A's?

My parents know that my grades don't matter.

    Staff and stuff

As Elly said, there's more to it than just the numbers. You need to exceed the requirements, but at the end of the day the difference between an accepted staff application and a rejected one will be aspects of your personality, your behaviour ingame and your relationship with the server. Don't...

Jazz is the best music genre, change my mind.

You raise an interesting point here, not something I thought of right away. But think about other common genres. What well-known genre hasn't invoked controversy and civil disobedience? The classical renaissance era. Jazz and ragtime. Rock-and-roll in the 50s. Psychedelic, pro-peace music in...

Jazz is the best music genre, change my mind.

Not only is no genre superior to any other, but there are many types of jazz, as are there many types of rock, hip-hop, classical, ska, and the list goes on. I don't think it's right to slander other peoples' tastes.

Just FYI, you can get barriers in the map maker world by doing /barrier.

Changes to /vote to help players

It would be so easy and appreciated by the community to fix these minor issues.

Closed Infected Desert - Insane (Re-submission)

i think you've hit on something here. manacube has never really been a server intended to drastically improve one's parkour skills. it's more so about a rounded community of parkouring, grinding, and building. this is reflected in the way an original theme and an attractive build are equally as...

Closed Infected Desert - Insane (Re-submission)

There's a difference between a map being memorable and being resented/dreaded. Maps don't have to be as hard as the judges will allow to be enjoyable. Most players on the server would prefer to understand the jumps, appreciate the build, and have fun while parkouring than have to labour through...
