I don't think this is a great idea because some people might spam WorldEdit commands and lag the entire server. There are alot of W.E. commands that cause lag if not used properly.

Dacon didn't say it was ok for people to change their names yet. He specifically said that you will lose your data, and he closed the thread to retrieve player's data because he was tired of it. Dacon has better things to do more beneficial to the server than change player datas repeatedly...

I don't think you need any permission to record on the server, unless your doing trolling videos. Then you would have to ask a staff member.
