This is totally ok, there is absolutely no reason to get him banned or for staff to give you your gear back. You had pvp on and if you are killed in pvp it is fair for the killer to keep your gear, even if it is a bit scummy.

/craft is an MVP command on Survival.

This is very incorrect as if a newer player some how achieved the money they can ask someone to buy them the ig spawner and transfer the money, I did this until I completed the quest line. Quests also didn't just "get removed" they were creating ungodly amounts of lag on the server almost to...
