I am suggesting a new set of plots that are SMALLER than the ones in the regular world. I see many plots that are not even filled up. I am no expert on plugins, but I am guessing that it takes a reasonable amount of RAM to maintain all these 128x128 plots. The small plotworld I am suggesting...

Brushes can be a griefing tool, and that can create a problem, but spamming of the hoe can cause immense lag. I still think brushes should be added back in, but limit the brush size to 3 or 4, hence causing less lag. I think the lag was the main reason the admin's took it out, not the griefing.
