For the sake of keeping the quality of parkour on this server high, mappers should be allowed to resubmit a map to rework the parkour if it has been rated 3 stars or lower for at least a month. Here are the specifics for this:
- Must wait at least a month after the map is added
- After this period, mappers will have one month to attempt at a resubmission
- Map must be 3 stars or lower
- Only 1 resubmission can be accepted
- Leaderboard times and ratings will be wiped after the map is successfully resubmitted
- Completions will not be reset since it is assumed that the resubmitted version would be easier/more enjoyable
The only downsides are that leaderboards are wiped and it would be more work for the judges. But I think this would be worth it if it means potentially having almost every map fun to play on.
Also, if this idea does happen, it would be great to be able to resubmit old maps for about a month after its added. I'm sure most mappers have a course they would be happy to rework.
