Oh lord. Don't even get me started on cox. My family pays for 150 mbs wifi and we don't even get close to 70. On a good day, it might go past 75, but on a bad day, it throttles itself to 50. I called them to complain about this slow internet speed I am getting, and instead of helping me they bsed even more about how I'm in a spot with low connection(keep in mind that my friend lives in the same community as me and he uses at&t and gets 120mbs when they only pay for 100mbs).

Overall, I wouldn't recommend cox to anyone, and I'm planning to switch out of it asap when my contract with them ends. Their marketing is bs; they have bad customer service and horrible internet speed.

I suggest AT&T or XFINITY, I used to have Time Warner (Spectrum before it changed its name) and we had the same issues. We then changed to AT&T and had minimal issues, and XFINITY (what we have now) works well most of the time (the internet goes completely dies sometimes, but I'm pretty sure it's just a few incompetent technicians)

Same, with the XFINITY. It works, but not even close to perfect. The more I use it, the more I realize that good internet is hard to come by.
Hopefully things get worked out for everyone!

I live in such a rural area, we don't have many internet choices. i will have to see if these are available. Thanks!
