Encrypting.... Timed out

Eyo!

I just wanted to ask if anyone else is having this problem right now / has had it before. (Applies to manacube and maybe other servers)
When I try to connect, i'm stuck on "Encrypting" for 10-20 seconds and then get a timeout message. This has been happenig for the past hour or so and I wasn't able to connect once.
A friend of mine is also experiencing this, though that doesn't really say much. I'm not making a ticket for now because this will probably fix itself at some point ^^

I'm not sure if this is an issue with my mc install or my internet, or if this might be server related. Anyone got a clue?

edit: there's about 250/5000 players online rn, is that less than average? if so, that might indicate something's wrong

Manacube is having connection issues right now and it seems like it is a mojang related issue, regular ip works for some players now but if it doesn’t work for you they opened the staff ip for public try connecting with test.manacube.net it works!

play.manacube.com also works again, but i'll keep the test one in mind, thanks! :D

Im having the same problem with it timing out on the Encrypting section
