Currently, we do have a wiki page set up specifically for Factions, highlighting the basics, the rules, and giving tips and tricks! You can have a read over it here: https://manacube.wiki/en/factions If you ever have any suggestions/criticisms for the wiki, you can always bring them up in #wiki in our community discord!
As for why the world is flat, I believe it's just a seasonal change to enhance the gameplay.
