Formatting signs

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but "&bBlue" should be blue right?? all tutorials do it like this or "§bBlue" but both ways don't work for me. Do I need to buy a rank or something for this to work?

Unfortunately yes, you need at least VIP to be able to use colours on signs on Skyblock.

For formatting signs, you need two things.

One: the space to add in &b, &4, etc. to color it based on what you want it to be
Two: A rank of VIP or higher, as Hallowqueen has said. Sadly, that's how it must be, as it would be abused far too easily if every day players were allowed to use it, and it may become an eyesore after a point.
