How do i own an island?

Hey so basically when I first joined, my friend invited me to his island before I could make one. Now though all of my stuff is on his island. How do I make an island of my own and still have complete access and teleport to his island while I have my own island as well?

You can leave his island (/is leave), and make your own (/is). Your friend can coop you to his island, but unfortunately, you cannot have access to both islands at the same time if your friend is offline. If you don't want to do that, then maybe you can build out a little and just have separate areas.

You can use /is to create an island and set a home at his with /sethome (name). Have him /is coop you in order to keep the ability to open things and such.
