How do you use worldedit in creative?

if i left click it makes position 1 and if i right click it makes position 2. what then? shouldnt there be a 3 and 4? and how do i get rid and add tons of blocks for ravines and mountains.

2 selections then use //set <Block> and it will fill the area with the desired block
