How should I upgrade my pickaxe?

Hello, I started playing Olympus recently, got to Artist rank and I am curious if someone developed optimal way to upgrade your pickaxe?
For now, I just horde my mana to by Divine which will speed up mana gain but I wonder if there is a better way.

Hey! So, I always max out my fortune and then save up for autosell, speed, and trench. I usually go for the other upgrades after I do all of that as they aren't as important.

And since they're cheap, I occasionally upgrade my haste and efficiency, but not all the way because I only do enough to be able to fly and mine. (eff 15-20 + haste 5-10)

I only just recently started the new olympus season, so I'm not sure if there's another meta I should try, but this works for me <3
