Not really. There's a very slim chance that a staff member banned you for no reason or just to target people :/

Give me an example of how they target the best players. I've heard a few people say this, and I'm wondering the reasoning behind it.

Giving him a reaction is just encouraging him to continue doing this.

He has been banned from the forums for the meantime, engaging him in a discussion about this is just going to encourage him to do it more, so I’d strongly urge and appreciate if you didn’t keep responding, and report it to staff if you believe there is an issue in future.
