Hi :D

I understand that a lot of people may look at this from the point of view that it's Minecraft and it's just a simple block game mainly aimed at kids.
I don't think that general synopsis can really apply, as on Manacube and many other Minecraft servers it's a large community of many different people from across the world.

The point of this post is to spread awareness of mental health on the server and to highlight that people may be going through a rough time, though most of the time you may not see this as happening.

People struggle talking to others in real life about there mental heath. But they may find it easier to talk to a friend online, due to the anonymity and that people can form really close relationships through online interactions.
From my own experience with mental health, it took me 2 years before I even mentioned anything to anyone. It can be alienating and embarrissing to talk to people on an emotional subject. I still find it hard to talk to people about my experiences today. Feeling like it shouldn't have had such the impact that it did. But I found that simply talking about it with people who I trusted made a big difference towards me improving myself and becoming the person I am today. It starts off small.
I talked to my teacher first about it through just writing it down on a piece of paper, I found that was easier to do than look at them and tell them. Start off small, writing it down in a private message to someone you can trust will a good starting point and takes a lot of courage.

If you feel like you are struggling with your mental health, is there someone you can talk to on your friends list? Many people from my personal experience are happy to help with anything that may be happening in your life.
If you notice one of your friends who may be struggling, sending them a quick message highlighting you concern, it shows that you care enough about them to first off simply notice and it will mean a lot to them. Give them space, time to think about it to themselves, pushing people to talking will only distance them from you.

Spread the love <3
We have a fantastic community of amazing people here.

Also, heres a picture of a puppy

Hey.

Let me start by saying "thank you"!
Mental health is a very important subject, sadly not talked about enough.
I've had depressions myself. Luckily I went to therapy which helped me a ton!

To everyone out there who is struggling:

You are not alone!

Try seeking help when you are ready for it. When I first went to my therapist it took almost 2 months before I even spoke to her.
The first sessions were only her talking. But even that helped me gain trust and understand the issue I was facing.

If anyone wants to talk or just wants to hear my story, feel free to dm me on Discord JojoStyle#1000.

Sending much love. Stay strong. And remember that you are enough!

I personally have had Problems with my exes being abusive etc. Yet Im still not able to go to therapy nor to open up to anyone else, so over the Years I've learned to live by it.

To anyone who has the same Problem, I'd say the same as the Owner of this topic did.

If this game can help someone cope with a mental disorder, that's great. However, I personally know very few examples of this. On the contrary, I know of examples where computer games have caused anxiety disorders or other syndromes. Also, for those with a rather weak psyche - games can cause addiction, which becomes pathological. In the end, with the right approach - games, on the contrary, can help. But if you still feel weak or anxious, then fherehab.com may be helpful to you. I've noticed from my own example that getting rid of anxiety is much easier before it even becomes serious.

What a thoughtful post! It's true, the Minecraft community, especially on servers like Manacube, is diverse and filled with wonderful people. It's so crucial to have a supportive online community, but the game can't be the sole solution for mental health challenges. Seeking help from qualified specialists is equally important. Talking to friends online is a great start, but professional support provides a more comprehensive approach.

Mental health is such an important topic, and your openness about your own experience is inspiring. I can totally relate to the challenges of dealing with depression, and I know firsthand how important it is to find support.
