Why do you want to become staff?
For the entirety of my time on ManaCube, from way back when I first joined to now, the community has always been so welcoming and helpful toward me. I wish to give back in any way possible, whether as a staff member or a normal player. I want to create a bigger aura of warmth and welcome. That is why I would like to become part of the staff team.
How long have you played on ManaCube?
I have been playing on and off for roughly seven or eight years, I have just recently begun playing consistently again in the past few weeks and I believe I have close to four days of elapsed time currently.
How many hours a week can you dedicate to Manacube?
My schedule could very well fluctuate but I can dedicate at the very least fifteen hours a week to ManaCube permanently. If it does happen to change at all from now and what I believe it will be in the near future, I will make sure to communicate that as soon as possible.
What skills do you feel you have that will help the server?
Some of the skills I have that I believe would help in the server are the ability to defuse situations, my ability to stay calm even in some of the most extreme and chaotic environments, and the skillset I learned working in customer service.
What experiences have you had which could help you as staff?
I grew up pretty much the oldest of the grandkids and cousins in my family and my family is quite large, so I grew up with a lot of chaos which gave me my ability to defuse situations and stay calm on top of many other things. I have worked customer service before which teaches you amazing listening and communication skills as well as time management to resolve issues. I have also been a helper and mod on other Minecraft servers, mainly survival, and prisons. Amongst other things. Some other notable mentions are being Admin/Staff Manager on a fairly large discord server, mod in multiple others, and I used to be a mod/head mod for a discord server that had over 3k members in total and had roughly 600-1k members visiting it a day.
What three attributes distinguish yourself from other players that qualify you to be a helper?
Time Management - I'm great at managing my time when I know my schedule and when I know other things that can contribute to the difference in time.
Level-headed - As previously mentioned, I grew up in chaos and the diffuser of situations as well as working in the customer service field so I know how to keep calm and keep level-headed when need be. Rarely anything gets to me and I am generally calm and can calm myself very quickly if needed, which I believe is something you should be able to do as staff.
Willingness - I have an extreme willingness to learn and help and do the best that I possibly can to care for and/or help everyone or everything involved.
Please explain what you believe the role of a staff member is.
In my opinion, the role of a staff member is to make sure the cogs are well-oiled, essentially. They are also there to make sure the community and server are safe and at their best.
Are you able to use recording software?
Yes, I can and I already have one installed.
Anything else we should know?
I can be extremely shy at first and I do have mild anxiety, so if I'm quiet sometimes, that is why.
