I feel although pixel art should be on the rank system. I don't do pixel art personally, but it takes skill and by ignoring the players who chose to do pixel art, you're blocking out a large part of your community.

There are a number of free 'Pixel Art Makers' which allow you to import any image and it will generate a Minecraft template for reproducing it as pixel art ingame.

This makes it extremely trivial to make pixel art, and requires no skill to do.

We realize there are some skilled pixel artist, but there is no way of knowing who is just copying some template and who isn't.
