Questions about Grading + Statues?

Currently have a D+ rank but strive for more in the future and managed to get 4 plots all in a square to merge. I deleted a plot I used to use as fun pixel art and 16x16 blocks and copy pasted a statue of my skin i had built and put it in a corner of my new one.
On the grading rules/tips post https://manacube.com/threads/creative-plot-grade-rules-tips.9066/ , it states pixel art is not allowed and
  • Statues, whether it be of mobs or player skin, are a form of pixel art, and therefore are automatically rejected.
Would this count if I left in on my plot? Follow up, would it count if I incorporated it into my build? Wouldn't want to get rid of it and I aspire to be a mod or helper in the future, so this helps my forum posts as well as answering my question.
Thanks!

Hello, @LeeLego9.

Personally, I’m no creative staff, so take what I say with a grain of salt until someone more knowledgable on this can correct me, haha.

I’d imagine that as long as you don’t plan on submitting the plot with the pixel art and statue(s) to be graded, you’ll be fine. However, for your second question, I don’t believe pixel art/statues would merge too well with a build? I understand people build animals, people, etc. but in 3D forms - but not so much 2D pixel arts, or the standard Minecraft skin ‘statues’.

Hello,

If statues are incorporated into a build and not a lone build, we often do still grade the plot if it is a D or D+ standard overall. However, these statues often do nothing to the grade of a plot, so there is little reason to keep them and if a 2D or 3D pixel art was on a higher grade plot, it likely will be rejected as it would stand out and make the plot worse. This is because skin statues are 2D/3D and often copied builds, if you did not create your skin yourself.
If however, your statue is an organic, a beautiful structure that isn't just a 2D Pixel art, it could add value to your build. For example, this following build from @Ohna is unique and adds to the plots. She often adds organics to her plot and you can visit them on /oldcreative /plot visit ohna.

If you have any questions about your plot you can always catch a creative staff in-game.

Thank you! As in doesn't really fit with the overall theme I'll probably just end up removing when it gets time to change the terrain of that area. Unfortunate, but it wasn't terribly hard to build and if I get a higher rank I could always rebuild it on a new plot.
Thanks again!
