Most of the old parkour maps arent nearly as beginner friendly, or, in my opinion, as fun as newer maps. This is thanks to the higher and higher expectations for build and parkour quality over the years. Sorting maps by newest as the default setting will give new players a more enjoyable experience, because of the better quality of parkour with interesting jumps, great build quality, and more forgiving checkpoint placement. It will also show that expectations for upcoming maps are high, which gives new mappers clearer examples of what an acceptable map should look and play like.

Even if it’s not the default, this should totally be an option.

Maybe if you can choose what category to sort of? Like Alphabetical, Oldest-Newest, Completions, Creator, Ratings etc.

Another one that might be an okay idea is grouping them into mappers so you can access maps all made by one person. Might be a bit hard though for people who have a range of co-creators.

I don't think this is a good idea. Not only for what you said about maps having multiple creators, but also because mapper credits must be added to the log manually by Shinx and this would just increase the pressure to do that. It really isn't a priority imo

I like this idea. It’s totally possible if a developer creates a system for this, and it’s not something that would be hard to do either, just time consuming, especially if there isn’t already credits for each map stored on whatever plugins parkour runs on.
