Spoiler: How to sign up

No sign up necessary! Just come on down to the /event server on 1.16.5 shortly before the event is scheduled to begin. Once on the server just run /spleef join for each round you want to participate in and you'll be entered in!

Spoiler: How to play

When you get on the events server, just go to /warp event and do /spleef join. You need to run the /spleef join command before each round you want to participate in. Once the game starts you'll have a few seconds of invisibility to run away from everyone else and then the game will begin! The entire floor is made of snow and you'll be given a diamond spade. Your job is to dig out the snow beneath other players and make them fall without falling yourself. There are 5 layers of snow, one on top of the other. Additionally all players will have double jump to make escaping easier. After a short while, the snow will begin melting so you'll have to make your move quickly before the snow melts from beneath you. The last player to fall off the fifth and final layer is the winner!
