Survival join error (texture pack/new version) since update

Hey all, has anyone else been running into this issue since the new season of survival?
Whenever I try to join, I get this error:

I've tried joining on 1.16.5 and 1.17.1 (the newest 2 versions) and doing /usepack manacube (it just says that I'm already using the pack, but it doesn't show it under my available resource packs).

edit: I'm able to join other parts of the server fine - if I do /survival from any other server, I get a permissions error message. When I do /survival in the lobby, I get the error screenshotted above.

have you tried enabling the resource pack in the server list? so it should look something like this:

Probably because the gameplay experience would be not so nice without the pack - especially since they have custom textured mobs now

Go to the server menu. Click on manacube. Click on edit. Click on texture pack option till or days enabled and use 1.16+. This should fix the issue.
