Unfortunately there is no faster way. If the mob is able to be spawned through /spawnmob, I recommend you do that. But for foxes, I think that in order to transport them to your base, you have to slowly guide them to your base.
No worries! Raptor and 4thForce Assisted me in finding a snow biome MUCH closer to my base. AND helped transport them safely through boat. Rap helped dig through the land so we could get through! I can happily introduce my foxy family - Duke and Penny <3
