Water on my plot keeps becoming ice!

For some reason, even after changing the biome of my plot to "Plains", The water keeps becoming ice.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Things already tried:
Placing new blocks around source/flow
Changing biome to something else
Replacing the water

Take off your frost walker boots.

Make sure there aren't any light sources around as they'll melt the ice :>

oh lol I read it as 'how to make the ice stop becoming water' - I blame the 3 hours of sleep.
Anyway, to stop it from becoming ice you can place light sources around the water or change the biome to dessert or savannah - any biome that doesn't have rain will make the ice melt.

You may have your plot biome set to an ice biome

I just realized I never posted the answer, my boots actually did have frost wlker
