Monthly costs are the minimum amount the server needs to make to break even. Think about the server costs, wages for the developers, etc. It's not related to you in particular :D

We can't know exactly, but since we know 1/4 of all money from the Heroic Crate was donated to charity, and since $7500 was donated; 7500*4 = 30000 thats how much the crate generated, and on top of that there are ranks and everything, so I'm guessing probably around 20k-30k a month?
Dacon has said that the server costs about 2-3k a month, depending on a few different things, and each player's donation is helping to break down that goal and achieve it. It's why the server always has crates, the monthly cost is always 50% or less until a crate comes out.
I'm mostly going off of memory but I honestly think 20k might be a bit excessive for a minecraft server. 2k is more realistic, and for the server to have to make 20k a month would be probably really, really hard.

Hey Mena! as stated above, with the Heroic crate he earned about 30k. You gotta keep in mind that its a bungee server. Meaning (Not truly accurate but) all servers cost money individually. Think about the skyblock servers, Olympus, survival and so on. 2k is really nothing for a server from this size :D
if we go do some math: If the server would need 2k to break even:
1 Elite purchase would be 7/8% of those %. Keeping in kind that the % doesn’t go up that much after every purchase its more likely for this server to cost 20k instead of 2k.
