Up to a certain limit, you can combine enchantments on two swords of the same material, but the amount of experience needed to combine the swords goes up as there are more, and higher level, enchantments. Iron golems are the best way to make money, but the money to get your first golem spawners typically comes from cactus farms. Once you have enough golem spawners to consistently buy more, it's just a matter of proliferation. The more you focus golems however, the quicker you will make more money.

Well since it's an item based on the Kilton System, it would technically be worth around 1 million, since people sell mob heads for 1k each. However, since the usefulness of the spawner is limited at best, the price is dependent on how much the buyer is willing to spend.

Now I'm not sure as to why, but whenever I switch to version 1.14.3 of Minecraft, I am able to go into trials. But once you get rank 7 through the /rankup menu, you should be able to access it in the normal 1.13.2

The major difference to note here is that since cactus is a plant, it needs someone in the same chunk. Spawners, however, work on a radius basis. If you are within 16 blocks of a spawner, including vertical distance, it will function at full capacity.
