Why do you want to become staff?
I love the Earth community and notice there is a lack of staff on. Recently the 2 main staff members have been quite absent due to IRL events. This and the fact I am on different times then them could be very beneficial for the server. I am also very knowledgeable of the Earth realm.

How long have you played on ManaCube?
Since June 2022

How many hours a week can you dedicate to Manacube? Over 30 hours per week and have no issues jumping on at weird hours as needed

What skills do you feel you have that will help the server?
There are several skills I have that I think could help the server. The main skill I have is that I am extremely knowledgeable about earth. I also have background in programing and have helped with plugins in the past. Third, I have also had prior experience as staff on several servers.

What experiences have you had which could help you as staff? I have been staff on several servers. On these servers I have had to deal with players of all types. My jobs on these servers included muting and banning players breaking the rules and providing the evidence for these rule breakings. I have also dealt with several appeals. My experience being staff has helped me learn that a mute isn't always needed. Sometimes a verbal warning is all that is needed to calm a situation down. Also in real life I am a supervisor of several employees and a Mom. This has helped me learn to multitask and deal with conflicts.

What three attributes distinguish yourself from other players that qualify you to be a helper?
1) Knowledge: I am very knowledgeable of earth commands and am helpful in chat. I am always watching chat and helping players that have questions. I have been nation and town leader of large nations/towns. During my time as leader we did several sieges. This has given me lots of knowledge on how all the commands work. Earth is a very complicated realm and I am good at helping explain answers to new and old players. Players are always coming to me to answer questions and explain rules to them.

2) Experience: I have staffed on several servers in the past and have also helped worked on configuring plugins for servers. This can be helpful as I have understanding of some changes that can be done to help make the server better. Staffing on other servers has helped me learn when to punish and when to give warnings. Also I helped one of my previous servers see the error in their anticheat system and helped them catch several autofishers. They have since implemented a new anti cheat system that is working better.

3) Active: I am a very active player and am super helpful if I am online. While playing, I'll stop and answer questions and go help others with their perms. Sometimes I notice players questions getting lost in chat. When I see this happen, I have started to message them privately and assist in dms. This seems to help keep the spamming to a minimum and give the players a personalized touch. I love earth and have assisted in giveaways, hosted my own giveaways and helped develop community projects.

Please explain what you believe the role of a staff member is.
Staff is the face of the server. They are the people players rely when stuff gets goes wrong and to keep the server family friendly. Staffs job is to help out new players with questions, handle reports and appeals, and overall help the community of manacube grow and thrive.

Are you able to use recording software? Yes I use OBS Studios. I have used it for several years and have submitted several recordings of bugs and issues to staff. I can upload to Imgur, Youtube, and Metal as needed

I think she would be a great staff member for earth considering the lack of staff there are currently. She is a active player and I think would be good to get rid of the daily chat disputes that happen randomly during the day.

I feel like staff as consistently showed you that they don't fuck with you by not only rejecting your application but not even putting it in the reviewing stage. At the end of the day the + and - scores are just gimmicks. If you don't end up becoming a staff member this time around I would really consider never applying again. Respect yourself because this is insane. If they don't want you then move on. You never want to chase something that is pushing you away.

Playing Minecraft for 30 hours a week as a 33yo is kind of alarming, but who am I to judge. Your application seems good though, +1.

I do agree with superflyguy here though, I haven't been active on the forums that much these past few years but for the staff to have rejected your application and have not even reviewed it, you must have some bad reputation? Back in 2021 if I am not mistaken my application was rejected similarly, but I believe the reason behind my rejection was immaturity and lack of experience, but you do seem experienced with how long you have been playing for, so one must wonder what happened here lol.

I mean, you would think an adult would have a job or something occupying their time but don't take it too seriously, it's fine.

She does have a job though and after a long stressful day of work sometimes relaxing and playing video games with your mates is a good way to relieve stress
