Hey there, I just tested and played a round of Trials on 1.18.2 with Optifine and it worked completely fine for myself, I'm not sure if the version you're using is the problem but I guess it wouldn't hurt to try if you wanted to get a few rounds in !

@ThatGuyAgain , You need to craft them all AFTER starting the quest or after it has become available for you. - Every Armour Piece (Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, Boots) and Every Tool (Pickaxe, Axe, Hoe, Shovel, Sword).
