I think it's a nice idea! Especially for when you simply want to first meet with someone. Exchanging discord accounts and joining a call can often be a hassle.

Another thing you could to, to check all events and not just the pond is /events. It shows you all events and the time counting down to them. Be sure to not mistake it for /event though! As the latter sends you to the event server which is a different thing.
