Heya Potato!

I shall be giving my opinion here if you don't mind; just a heads up, I am not a map judge, this is just my personal opinion!

The THEME of your map is somewhat original; however, it is very similar to other maps such as FidgetCube and CompanionCube. When coming up with a theme I'd advise you to check over this document here: Maps List - this shows all the accepted maps on ManaCube to date, with their themes to allow you to see if a theme is already on the server.

In regards to the BUILD, it is accurate to the theme, and from the outside looks good. so good work on that. One thing I would love to see is more colour shading and a wider colour palette overall across the build; this would add a nice little touch!

In regards to the PARKOUR, the course difficulty is inconsistent and would fit the length of a hard; I would advise you try to smooth out the difficulty and make it more streamlined throughout! Another thing is that your block variation in your jumps is lacking. I'd recommend you check this document here: Jump Variation - this will allow you to grasp a better understanding of what I mean by jump/block variation. Just ensure that you are using variation throughout the course to keep it enjoyable! Lastly, a few jump setups are off; more specifically, the slime "speed" jump. Try to ensure that players have a fair and easy setup. Also, map navigation could be worked on, ensure that players know where they need to go.

Other than this, there are no issues!

Thanks for the advice! All of your criticism I agree with and I'll definitely try to improve upon them for future maps. Thanks again for taking your time to play the map, to write the reply and for providing the documents.

Hello Potato_Quantum,

I regret to inform you that your map is REJECTED.

The THEME of your map is unoriginal, as we already have maps based around cubes (FidgetCube and CompanionCube). Before creating a parkour please make sure to check out this template here to see all the maps accepted on the server!

The BUILD of your map is accurate to the theme. The outside looks great and has great detail but lacks texture. Try adding more texture with different types of blocks to make the build more aesthetically pleasing.

The PARKOUR fits the length of a hard map but has an inconsistent difficulty throughout. Your parkour is lacking variance, only things that are incorporated are regular jumps, ladders and fences. To add more variance, try adding more jumps with unique blocks like pots, water, heads, vines, etc. Be sure to have your checkpoint placement follow the parkour path as there is one checkpoint that is quite a few blocks away from the actual parkour itself. It'll make the pathing less confusing and guide players where to go.
