Difficulty: Medium? Although it is quite long.... I am unsure about how to label it.
Also, for some reason it wouldn't let me put a lot of the photos in. So this is not all of the course.
EDIT: I changed the difficulty to hard and made some of the jumps harder to compensate. So now the length matches up more with the difficulty.

Hey naholian,

Unfortunately, I will be REJECTING this map submission.
  • Theme: As we have an overabundance of sea/ocean related themed maps currently on the server, this map is not very original. Before making a map, you should always take note of previously used themes as to prevent similar maps, A list can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lZKQZMgGev6fXyhZ8nCPkTzNIj0yOjXjUTDvfzKNzl4/edit
  • Build: Although I can definitely see you put a lot of effort into the build, I feel that it's lacking in a lot of areas. For starters, I don't think the theme is conveyed greatly by the build. It's just a bunch of elements floating around with no real cohesion. Furthermore, these elements aren't that well-executed, they could definitely use some better detailing and shaping. Especially the "sea" wall, it's just bland and not very attractive. Ultimately, it's all very messy which proves to make a poor build.
  • Parkour: The parkour was long enough for a hard map but it felt way too easy, more fitting of the medium difficulty. I'd recommend buffing the overall difficulty of the jumps throughout the map. That wasn't the only issue I had with the parkour, it was also very repetitive and confusing to do. Please try to use a wider variety of blocks/jumps on your map to make it enjoyable and creative, there were just too many identical jumps on the map. On the confusing point, I'd recommend just adding more signs and markers for barriers.
I hope you take these criticisms into consideration when submitting maps in the future, good luck!
