When did you start playing on ManaCube and what does your activity look like?
I started playing ManaCube in the middle of September 2024 after my friend introduced me to it. It quickly became a weekend hobby for me. I usually log in during the weekends, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM MST, making the most of my time playing mostly the earth server.
In addition to playing, I've enjoyed connecting with other players in the community. I often share tips and strategies with new players, which enhances the overall experience.
Being part of this server has not only provided hours of entertainment but also fostered new friendships. I'm always on the lookout for new challenges and events that the server hosts. It feels great to be part of such an active community, and I’m looking forward to potentially joining the QA team
Why do you want to join the QA team?
I’m fond of helping people, and many of my friends and family say it would be a great fit for me. I find joy in lending a hand, whether it’s offering support to someone going through a tough time or assisting with tasks and projects.
Many of those close to me have encouraged me to consider pursuing a career in fields like counseling, social work, or community service, where I can channel my desire to help others into something more structured and impactful. I’m exploring different options and thinking about how I can leverage my skills to contribute to my community effectively.
Do you have any experience with game testing/quality assurance?
Yes, as I am a game developer myself, I have tested many games and made adjustments based on my experiences. I enjoy delving into the various aspects of game design, from mechanics and graphics to user experience. Testing different games helps me understand what works well and what could be improved, allowing me to apply those insights to my own projects.
Additionally, I stay updated on industry trends, which helps me incorporate new ideas and features into my work. I'm always looking for innovative ways to elevate gameplay and make my games stand out.
What qualities or skills do you have that would contribute positively to the QA team?
I’m very familiar with the Towny plugin. I understand how it operates and can navigate its features effectively. This knowledge positions me to assist new players who are just getting acquainted with the game. I love helping them with various tasks, such as creating towns, managing money, and understanding game mechanics.
