Why do you want to become staff?
I would like the ability to back myself up and gratify me for the actions I have already been taking in providing advice to many players, and the authority to be able to continue keeping Survival as free of discontent and improper behaviour as a multiplayer game server can be, even in just small ways on a day-to-day basis. :]
How long have you played on ManaCube?
I started in late 2023, during the Summer event, but was absent for most of 2024, returning in November 2024. I have played Survival consistently from then until now (mid-Jan 2025)
How many hours a week can you dedicate to Manacube? During school terms: ~11 hrs a week, during holidays this number can easily become double or higher.
What skills do you feel you have that will help the server?
Above all, I desire to help people. It discontents me when someone does not know something, and if a question about the server is asked, I will do my best to answer it. I am familiar with a lot of common commands for survival servers of this type and with Manacube Survival's own quirks. I can also type quickly, which is a small boon when communicating purely through Minecraft chat.
What experiences have you had which could help you as staff? I have been a helper on the MC server Teldaria, where I gave advice and warnings, and outside of Minecraft I am seen by my peers as someone who is orderly and responsible, who does his best to complete assigned tasks, and so on.
What three attributes distinguish yourself from other players that qualify you to be a helper?
I am thoroughly Lawful, having never needed to be reprimanded for behaviour on other servers in the past and trying to convince others to follow rules; I try my best to be patient with those who are new to the game/still learning the commands and whatnot and will take as much time as they need to help them; and I simply wish to respectfully help everyone who asks for it, no matter how many newbies I tell the premise of this server every day, no matter how repetitive it becomes. We were all noobs once. They deserve to be listened to and assisted, as do any other players simply in need of a refresher on one of the server's many aspects.
Please explain what you believe the role of a staff member is.
Someone who has been granted authority through their expertise and integrity, who advises those who require assistance and metes out consequences to those who do not respect their fellow players and the server that they play on.
Are you able to use recording software? I am not.
Anything else we should know?
I do not have a functional microphone at the moment, and with that combined with my voice dysphoria, I am wholly unable to speak in voice chats at present. I understand if this automatically disqualifies my application, but I hope for it to be given consideration regardless. ;w;
