Why do you want to become staff?
I already have found myself to be someone who gravitates helping the community and I have come to grow to love the Manacube playerbase. I have a strong sense of justice and definitely see becoming staff as a proper outlet for me to give a hand where I can within the server, especially with the Skyblock reset coming up, I am sure it will attract a rowdy bunch that need some tough love. I show no bias so punishments will be fair towards everyone who breaks a rule. Additionally, people have told me that they love coming to me for help and compare me to a good example of a role model, so the title of helper would make it even easier for people to reach out in times of need.

How long have you played on ManaCube?
About a year now. Been active since the last Skyblock reset.

How many hours a week can you dedicate to Manacube? I cannot give an exact amount, but I am usually on for 3 or more hours per day. I have about 1200 hours total combined between Skyblock and Olympus, so I can definitely guarantee constant activity.

What skills do you feel you have that will help the server?
A justice driven mind, inclusivity for every player, leadership experience, and great communication skills would probably be my top skills that come to mind for this position. As stated before, I am keen on fairly treating everyone, including if I have to punish someone for breaking a rule. I treat players fairly, with the end goal of ensuring that everyone feels included within our community. This can be done through my conversations, through helping new players with whatever they may be struggling with, to even resolving conflict between two players in chat. I emphasize helping new players especially, as I remember how it felt on my first day of Manacube, being overwhelmed by all the features, currencies, and whatnot. The next skill would be my experience in various leadership positions. This ranges from online positions to work positions to extracurricular leadership. Alongside this leadership, communication became a very important task to me. Without proper communication, everything can burn to the ground. I am an effective communicator and I go out of my way to ensure that everyone in my team is on the same page. This extends into the community of course, as I can find a way to communicate with each player on a personal level.

What experiences have you had which could help you as staff? In real life, I have been the leader of an entire scout troop for about 3 years. I stepped into the position at age 14, and ended when I became an Eagle Scout at age 17. I would plan meetings and trips for 200+ boys as well as communicate with the parents about everything going on. I have also held work positions of leadership, such as being a supervisor as well as an assistant manager. Additionally, both in high school and college, I was president of multiple clubs. Online I have also been in a position of leadership. My largest task was being the head admin of a (now deleted due to reasons) discord server of 150,000+ people. All of these combined have taught me to be openminded towards everyone, how to keep a cool temper when under stress, as well as how to effectively manage and help hundreds of people at the same time.

What three attributes distinguish yourself from other players that qualify you to be a helper?
The three attributes that come to mind are experience (be it problem solving skills, de-escalation of a situation, or communicating to thousands of people at once), an open mind, and the drive to help everyone. Manacube is a large server, so one would assume that there would be some stress and pressure placed upon someone within the staff team. This works well for me, as I work exceptionally well under pressure. My experiences in prior leadership roles have helped form my ethic of work and ability to handle anything that is thrown my way. I keep an open mind and will hear everyone out to iron out every detail in an argument or complication, allowing me to piece together the full story and act appropriately. I do not judge and will remain inclusive to each and every member, offering a professional role to follow and a friendly demeanor to everyone. I have always been one to go out of my way to help others, this has stemmed from the way my mother has raised me. I will work towards helping anyone who reaches out to me and will continue to help them no matter how many times they ask, even if it is a tiny issue or a reoccurring one.

Please explain what you believe the role of a staff member is.
There are three major roles that someone in staff has: to help, to provide a good role model/example to other players, and to ensure the experience within the server is comfortable for others. Staff should be ready to give both hands to a player when necessary, as well as moderate the chat for players who may be making someone else's Manacube experience unsatisfactory. Staff should be level-headed and continue to be kind to everyone, regardless of who they are or if they have had prior issues or quarrels in the past. Effectively, by upholding the rules while wearing the title of Manacube Staff, you are giving a perfect example to players as to how they should act within the server.

Are you able to use recording software? Yes, if there is a preferred software that will make it easier on upper management, I am willing to use whichever one works best!

Nothing else you should know, but I would like to personally thank whoever reads this application for both their time and the opportunity to be part of a wonderful team. Additionally, I would like to thank the two people who pushed me to apply (you know who you are lol), for giving me the drive to finally submit this application!
