I have playtested the map, and here is a review.
This map will be rejected. Although I am not a community or map judge, I can say with full certainty that this map will not make it.
First off, the build, there is no main build, rather just a bunch of islands with no purpose, try to make a themed build first, (you can use an object, a person, movie character, you name it) before building your parkour, because your map needs a theme, which this does not have.
Then, as for the parkour, it is far too repetetive and boring making it not very fun to play. Try making use of a wider variety of jumps and blocks, you can use things like water, minecarts, ice, more chained jumps and a wider range of slime jumps. For this, I recommend you to take a look at some recently accepted highly rated maps, such as CSGOTrain, CatBus, StSophia or Chutes.
Moreover, the map mainly relies on very lengthy checkpoints to be difficult, try to avoid this at all costs, it makes for a frustrating and much less fun experience; instead, make the jumps themselves harder whilst keeping the checkpoint relatively short.
Then there is also the issue of barriers and cobwebs, two blocks I recommend to avoid. Barriers should be replaced by other blocks incorporated into the build, or otherwise, use glass. It makes the map feel more fair and fun to play. Cobwebs make for slow movement, and when you fail a cobweb jump on a failsafe area, the player has to wait before getting to try again. This makes the map more frustrating and overall less fun to play.
Lastly, I would like to remind you that maps need to be compatible for all versions 1.8 and up, currently this is not the case, provided that some iron bars that are placed on slime blocks have a different hitbox between versions. (In 1.8 it's a single bar, in 1.20 it's as if there is a block on each side) Try to make sure that this is the case to get a chance of getting a map accepted in the future.
Kind Regards, Chimakivic
