While I do like the new infinity chest system and its intentions to help control the economy, I do not like how there no longer is a way to automatically destroy items.
I have a huge farm producing about 100 dubs of useless items a day and I have to constantly break and place them. This process creates a ton of client lag (2-4 fps, elsewise avg is 100+ at the farm). And I'm sure the entities create server lag too. I do clear the items by spamming /ci, but that still takes a long time and kicks me several times.
I tried making a redstone clock with a dispenser/dropper and lava, but you cant get quartz crystal for comparators, and a repeater would soon get locked from reboot/lag whatever.
I think there should be another chest item, or a setting in the inf chest, that allows the automatic deletion of items.
Or if you have an idea of how I can delete these items more easily, I pray tell. Thank you.
