I have a slight problem... when my friend changed his name from Kingcrafter129 to Dr.Wombat. He didn't realize that with a name change you lose most data. Once he found out, he got his rank back but then realized that he didn't own the island anymore and quit. Now I'm the only one of us left (that still plays) and would request, if possible, some way to transfer leader without the leader "existing". (Preferably me due to my friend quitting)

When you change your name, it is possible to get islands, plots and more back. You just have to ask staff.
If your friend comes back we will more than happily return their island if you ask us too. Returning it to you, is another case and in that situation if we did give it to you we would want the owner of the island to actually give us permission to.
So if you can contact your friend you can tell them that their island can be returned and minevast is waiting for them that would be the best option.
