I usually play ftb so I am used to machines, what kind of fun contraptions are essential in just vanilla?

I currently have a small auto cactus farm, a wheat farm, cow cooker, and a cave spider farm.

I did have a melon farm but we lagged our base out and caused to many crashes with what we had made

I would recommend an automatic or semi automatic wither skeleton grinder in the nether. I have one and it gets me lots of skulls very quick.

how do you make it automatic/semi automatic? I had just planned on a kill chamber so he couldnt fly off on me. I did have a room that was like 9x9 to spawn skeletons in but it could be better for sure
