Hey Ice_Climber_ and Frank_Bacon,
Unfortunately, I will be
REJECTING this map submission.
- Theme: Although we have no maps themed after a temple of time, this map definitely falls under the "Temple" category which has been used quite a lot. Had you executed the theme better I would say it's original but it fell rather short.
- Build: The build did not accurately portray your theme. Had I not known the theme of your map before doing it, I would not have been able to tell what it was themed after. I just don't get the intentions behind certain structures. What makes this a temple of time? This is something you should be able to answer with your build, but seemingly enough, the answer isn't very apparent to me. I see a garden, a church/temple, and some odd structure with pillars. Besides the fact that they were all executed rather mediocrely (they could use some better detailing, shaping, and block choices), they just really don't work well together. And, the terrain/platform the build is on is quite basic. There's a lot you must address to get this build to reach an acceptable state.
- Parkour: The parkour was short and easy enough for the easy difficulty, but it had some issues. The first thing I noticed was how long the 2nd cp was. In comparison to the CPs before and after it, it was incredibly lengthy and unforgiving. I'd recommend putting a cp perhaps after you jump into the room. Furthermore, the parkour itself was rather repetitive. This is due to the fact that many jumps were comprised of the same type of jump and block. Take the interior rooms, for example, they're either straight forward normal block 1b/2b's or corner jumps. Try to work in some different blocks/jumps so that your parkour is varied and fun to do. Also, please label your barriers to avoid confusion!
I hope you take these criticisms into consideration when submitting maps in the future, good luck
