Rain is annoying , and night is dark and pointless , it will be better if you just set it to be day at all times , at lest remove rain , i play at sky-block oasis

I think overall rain has a purpose as it makes fishing go by faster. In general the night cylce/day cycle also have a purpose for mob spawners or wanting to show off a building in a specific light.

If the rain is bothering you/creating lag, you can also ask a Skyblock mod if one is available, to clear the weather for you.

You also have the option of using a client-side mod to freeze time/weather, as it provides no unfair advantage (doesn't make anything go faster or more efficiently, doesn't change PvP, anyone can download)
