What is the main realm you play on
Olympus
When did you start playing on ManaCube and what does your activity look like?
I started in 2015 and played for some years, then took a break and came back in March of last year. Since then, my activity has been pretty consistent, and I have ~800+ across my old account and this current one. I can range from 14 hours a week to over 50 hours a week, give or take.
Why do you want to join the QA team?
I would like to join the QA team to help continue the lovely realms growth as well as help test out suggestions that are being implemented and bugs to help resolve players issues. In my time playing I have come across and reported multiple bugs or made sure issues were bugs and not player side issues and helped recreate steps multiple times and made sure the players being effected by said bugs knew to report and how to report them. Overall I wish to help Olympus grow and get better from the ground up through suggestions, beta testing, and bug reporting and feel like this is a proper step in achieving this.
Do you have any experience with game testing/quality assurance?
I have had some experiences. Though it has been a bit, I am sure I could dust off my skills and polish them as well as quickly learn anything that would possibly be necessary.
What qualities or skills do you have that would contribute positively to the QA team?
Patience:
I am a very patient person. I think this could contribute positively as when reporting/testing bugs or helping others do the same, one might need patience.
Thorough:
I am a very thorough person when completing a task at hand/given. When I notice bugs I tend to test immediately to recreate the proper steps and if it is not possibly game-breaking or something that could be used to someone's advantage I will have someone else follow the steps to make sure it is not just an issue on my side. On top of being thorough, when I get into a groove or find something particularly difficult, I get very focused and locked in, and committed to figuring out the issue.
Creative:
I'm a creative mind. I like finding solutions to problems creatively and enjoyably (as much as possible) and LOVE to come up with suggestions based on input from others and flesh them out when possible. I've seen multiple suggestions or have been told some by others and have helped them flesh them out if they had issues articulating what they meant/envisioned and encouraged them to post them, even if they never do get posted.
Love for the realm and community:
As mentioned above I adore the and love the realm and community, as do most I think and hope. I believe this to be positive because even as QA, you probably have some real appreciation and love for your community to seek out bigger opportunities to help it in its growth. (edited)
