A few days ago I watched EmperorBonaparte's video on mining techniques with Blast and which is the fastest method (I recommend taking a look https://forums.manacube.com/threads/guide-blast-mining-techniques.37382/).
I thought using this information and a little bit of maths I could figure out how long it would take to reach mining level 99. Currently, only NeekoDTsu has 99 mining level and because they haven't been online for over a month I couldn't ask them how many blocks it took so I will use base the equations off of the total number of blocks they have mined (13,034,518) (You can find this by typing "/" in chat).
In Emperor's video, he mined the first 3 layers of the god mine (9408 blocks) in 2 minutes and 21 seconds (141 seconds).
To find his blocks per second:
9408/141 = 66.72
We can then find how many seconds it would take to break the same amount of blocks as NeekoDTsu:
13034518/66.72 = 195,351. 513393 seconds
I rounded this up to 195,352 (because we aren't all perfect miners not because its easier ;))
We can then convert this number to minutes (rounded up again) and then to hours:
195352/60 ~ 3256 minutes
3256/60 = 54.266.. hours
So mining level 99 will take approximately 54 hours and 16 minutes. Keep in mind this was based off of 13,034,518 blocks which may be more than it takes.
There is most likely an easier way of doing this and I am almost certain my maths is wrong somewhere but this is all my sleep-deprived brain can muster for today. I'd gladly appreciate corrections and criticism so I can make this as accurate as possible.
