Why are some easy maps actually hard?

I've played mana parkour for not to long but after a while i've come to realise that some easy maps are hard and often contain 4 block jumps idk if im just bad or if its hard

For me i just say to myself olds maps = harder maps and newer maps = easier maps

nobody wants to balance over 1000 maps so some will never be accurate to their difficulty

I think most of the map grading process looks at the number of jumps & design instead of the difficulty of the jumps unless they're too hard. A 4 block jump wouldn't be considered hard.
