Preventing forum ads

Too many bots, 1 easy solution.

When calling the event to post something, add an if statement checking how many times a link is present in the context of the post (an easy solution is to check if a word starts with https). If it exceeds some number (it could be relative to the user's activity and/or account age) then the post is held up for review or is not posted at all.

They could just add so you have to be synced with an Minecraft account before being able to post or something like that

or just make it so u cant post on forums unless ur linked ingame just like discord, 90% of the spamming accs arent linked
Yeah, I mean account linkage is just a variable in your profile so it would be easy to implement. Regardless, Discord requires you to be linked, so why not the site?

100% I believe Xenforo has a lot of options for permissions and posting. I don't think this would be hard to implement and it should prevent most if not all spam bots from posting and commenting on forums.
